As my hashtag #treatyourself indicates, I believe we can find resources within ourselves that contribute to our healing. We can learn how to treat ourselves in myriad ways. This does not mean that we do not need support and advice from others. In fact, we cannot do it alone. #treatyourself is also about intentionally cultivating all the ways we each uniquely need to bring more balance and wholeness to our lives in connection with others. Healthy friendships, professional therapists and medical doctors, and other kinds of community healers can all be parts of the integrated healing network we need. To the extent that I can be supportive of you in that process, I am available for consultations.

Throughout my life I have been told that I can’t write. Which is completely ridiculous, based on the number of words I have actually written in my lifetime. As a Libra, I am a thinker and an overthinker, a writer and a communicator. As a Leo Moon and Leo Rising, one of my deepest desires is to express myself in authentic ways. Daily journaling, writing personal letters by hand, and participating in free-style writing groups are some of the most important meaning-making practices and experiences in my life. In a few cases, I have actually published what I have written. Here’s a list of some of those things.
